ACTS Accreditation

ACTS encourages members to provide the highest level of Christian school excellence. Voluntary accreditation is the cornerstone of this goal. Meeting the standards, preparing a self-study, hosting a visiting team, and being approved by the ACTS Accreditation Commission are fundamental requirements for becoming an ACTS Accredited school.

Teacher and Administrator Certification

Another quality benefit is the ACTS teacher and administrator certification program. ACTS certification requires spiritual, biblical, and academic qualifications.

Discounts

Scripture-based handwriting, Bible quiz, and other items are periodically offered for discounts.

The Annual Directory

This directory includes all Assemblies of God Christian Schools, ACTS member schools, and advertisements for Christian school products and colleges.

Special rate for student accident insurance is available. Contact the National Office for more information.

Achievement and Ability Test

Psychological Testing Corporation provides discounts and special scoring for SAT and OLSAT (Christian version recommended).

Special Assistance

Call the Executive Director's office for assistance with special circumstances including: facility design, curriculum development, discipline and conflict resolution, finances and budgeting, spiritual distinctives, family involvement, faculty and staffing issues, and recruiting and retaining students.

People and Positions

PERSPECTIVES lists both positions available and professional Christian educators seeking new positions. This listing is sent to approximately 1800 Christian schools and educators.

Student Activities

ACTS member schools are encouraged to participate in the Fine Arts Festival and Bible Quiz through their sponsoring church. The ACTS Honor Society certificates are available.

Missions Education Program

An adopt-a-school program has been arranged through DFM and Book of Hope that allows each of your students to become a missionary. Missions opportunities are also available through BGMC
