BGMC helps kids with new “Pray, Give, Go!”

By CMA Staff
BGMC is raising the bar to help kids receive the call to missions by enabling them to act as missionaries right where they live through a new “Pray, Give, Go” focus that is available to leaders and kids online.
Kids are being challenged, through the local church leader, to reach their world (where they live) through E-LIFE and to reach the world (across the globe) through BGMC by praying, giving and going. The resources are all free through two new, powerful online Web sites — BGMCKids and E-LIFE.
BGMCKids is a new, one-of-a-kind Web site just for kids. It’s designed to help kids learn how to “Pray, Give and Go.” Kids can now go online to learn about BGMC and about missionaries and their ministries.
BGMCKids also has a new video series on “Pray, Give, Go” that helps kids learn how to pray; how to give of their time, talent and money for BGMC; and how to go by reaching their world (where they live) and the world for Jesus Christ. These short one-minute clips are fun to view while teaching valuable lessons to the kids.

E-LIFE is the BGMC Web site resource for leaders that teaches kids to GO. It offers free downloadable activities, videos, games and many more ideas for any children’s ministries activity.
E-LIFE is challenging kids to live out five basic commitments so they can reach their schools.
Kids across the nation are taking up the challenge to be missionaries to their schools and community as BGMC provides online resources to their children’s pastors and leaders.
“E-LIFE is not just a program, it’s a lifestyle you can instill in the lives of every child in your church,” says Marshall Bruner, national E-LIFE coordinator. “If children’s leaders will take advantage of this free online resource and understand the dynamic potential of E-LIFE, the Matthew 19:14 principle [let the children come to Jesus] will be lived out across this nation, and kids by the thousands can come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ as a result.”
The downloadable theme activities teach kids how to live out the “Five Commitments of an E-LIFE Kid.”
- Seek: Seek the Spirit’s help to help others
- Show: Show kindness and friendship
- Share: Share “The Story” about Jesus Christ
- Invite: Invite others to church and to know Christ
- Invest: Invest in the lives of others
These commitments are taught through five-minute theme activities:
- Get Real: role-playing scenarios kids may find themselves in at school
- High Octane: exciting object lessons with a devotional slant
- SnapShot: key scriptures learned through “scripture picture” style
- E-xtreme Fun: games with a gospel/moral lesson
- Instant Replay: illustrated stories and Bible stories portrayed through drama
