Fellowship introduces iValue — supports core beliefs

By Hannah Brown
Early this fall, every AG church will receive a freeiValue kit and DVD. The iValue project will provide churches with a wide portfolio of resources to place a renewed emphasis on the Fellowship’s four core beliefs: salvation, the baptism in the Holy Spirit, divine healing and the second coming of Christ.
“To ensure a strong and vital future for our church we need to have a clear understanding of the founding beliefs of our Fellowship,” states Assemblies of God Director of Communications Juleen Turnage. “We believe the iValue campaign will assist pastors as they focus on biblical truths for a contemporary audience.”
The iValue DVD resource incorporates a teaching- and discussion-based format and features four of the Fellowship’s top leadership. As they discuss these beliefs, General Superintendent George O. Wood; Assistant General Superintendent Alton Garrison; General Treasurer Doug Clay; and General Secretary James Bradford each bring a fresh, thought-provoking teaching on one of the four doctrines in a powerful video format. The leadership team also joins together for roundtable forums to address practical questions surrounding the issues of salvation, Holy Spirit baptism, divine healing and the second coming.
“We owe it to future generations to pass on these timeless truths in a relevant way,” says Wood. “We have endeavored to address these doctrines in a way that crosses generational lines while holding true to the core beliefs.”
The iValue kit will include video teachings, roundtable discussions, preaching lead-ins and personal testimonies. A Web site (www.ivalue.ag.org) will also feature information found on the DVD, along with additional resources including articles, sermon outlines, books, art and Web links.
Churches can expect the iValue DVD in their mail this fall.
