Christian bikers enjoy General Council

For the third General Council, Honorbound Motorcycle Ministry has sponsored a ride for pastors. Today’s ride included 22 bikes and was led by Assemblies of God nationally appointed missionaries Keith Turcotte, R. Duane Gryder and Fred Higgins.

The ride was 100 miles, through scenic back roads, wound over the highest point of Florida and ended with lunch. Riders included ministers from Florida, Texas, Georgia, Ohio and New York. Some road here and others took advantage of discounted rates arranged with local dealers.

Plans are already being made for Phoenix GC 2011. Brent Page, the men’s director from Ohio, and others are on board to plan a ride that starts at Pastor Tim Adour’s church in the Bronx, gathering others along the way to roll into GC 2011.

HonorBound Motorcycle Ministry is the official national motorcycle ministry of the Assemblies of God. It is a partnership between HonorBound Men’s Ministry and US Missions Chaplaincy Department. More information is available at www.HonorBoundMM.ag.org.
