Resolution #3 — Honorary General Presbyter — Don R. Logan
WHEREAS, Don R. Logan served as a member of the General Presbytery of The General Council of the Assemblies of God from 1982-2002; and
WHEREAS, He has faithfully served the Assemblies of God with distinction as evangelist, pastor, Christian education director, youth director, sectional presbyter, missions secretary, executive presbyter, and assistant superintendent of the Louisiana District Council; and
WHEREAS, He has served on the Board of Directors of Minister’s Benefit Association, and as a member of numerous other committees of the district and General Council; and
WHEREAS, He has served on the Board of Regents of Southwestern Assemblies of God University, his alma mater; and
WHEREAS, He has served this Fellowship as an ordained minister for 41 years, and is esteemed as a faithful administrator, wise counselor, Christ-like statesman, and godly mentor; and
WHEREAS, Article IX, Section 3, paragraph h, page 96 of the General Council Constitution makes provision for persons with such distinctive history to be chosen as honorary general presbyters; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That Don R. Logan be elected by The General Council of the Assemblies of God to the position of honorary general presbyter.
