Resolution #13 — Home Missionaries Support Of AGHM
WHEREAS, General Council Bylaws Article XV, Section 3. Support, paragraph e, page 156, states that one-half of the tithes of missionaries under appointment receiving funds through the Assemblies of God Home Missions is to be sent to Assemblies of God Home Missions for operating expenses; and
WHEREAS, Some appointed home missionaries are incorporated and are paid through their corporation, rather than through Assemblies of God Home Missions; and
WHEREAS, Some appointed home missionaries are paid through a church rather than through Assemblies of God Home Missions; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That General Council Bylaws Article XV, Section 3. Support, paragraph e, page 156, which now reads:
e. One-half of the tithes of missionaries under appointment receiving funds through the Assemblies of God Home Missions.
Be amended to read:
e. One-half of the tithes of missionaries under appointment receiving funds through the Assemblies of God Home Missions.
